Još jednom je oboren brzinski rekord na Nose, ovog puta to nije ni Honnold, ni Florine, ni Hirayama nego Jim Reynolds i Brad Gobright. Oni su 12.10.2008. godine zadnji puta oborili stari rekord sa rezultatom od 2:37:05 sati nakon toga je nekoliko puta rezultat pomican, a zadnji koji su ga 17.06.2012. godine spustili na 2:34:30 sati bili su Hans Florine i Alex Honnold.
Tada smo mi u redakciji mislili da se ne može bolje od toga odnosno da će sljedećima biti poprilično teško oboriti tako dobar rezultat. Izgleda da smo se prevrili, jer je ovaj muški penjači par uspio poboljšati rezultat za čak 14,02 minute.
Prvi koji su postavili brzinski rekord na Nose bili su Jim Bridwell, John Long i Billy Westbay, trebalo im je 17:45 sati da ga popnu. Tada zasigurno nisu mogli niti sanjati da će se Nose penjati za malo više od 2 i pol sata.

First speed record on the Nose was put up 1975. and guys who's done this record was Jim Bridwell, John Long i Billy Westbay score of first speed record was 17:45 hours. There are never think that somebody can climb the Nose in two and half hour.
